Book a flight

Reserve a plane ticket. For example: “I booked a flight to Peru yesterday.”

Check in

Register at a hotel or airport. For example: “We need to check in two hours before the flight.”

Carry-on bag

Small bag you take into the plane. For example: “My carry-on bag is too heavy.”

Boarding pass

Document that lets you enter the plane. For example: “Can I see your boarding pass?”

Gate

The place where you wait to enter the plane. For example: “Our gate changed to 14C.”

Delayed

When a flight is late. For example: “Our flight is delayed by an hour.”

Accomodations

A place to stay (hotel, Airbnb). For example: “Accommodations in Paris are expensive.”

Sightseeing

Visiting interesting places. For example: “We did a lot of sightseeing in Rome.”

Itinerary

Your schedule or plan for a trip. For example: “My itinerary includes temples and museums.”

Exchange money

Change currency. For example: “I need to exchange money before the trip.”
