Stated the US would aid nations overseas to resist communism in reaction to Great Britain becoming unable to support Greece and Turkey, mostly for European nations

Stalin blockaded Berlin in 1948 because they wanted us to leave West Berlin, we responded with the Berlin Airlift

Truman’s response to Stalin’s blockade in Berlin, we flew in supplies and food to West Berlin
