General body of the UN
Main body of UN where all representatives meet and debate policies, issues, conflicts, etc. Leader of UN is secretary general, and right now it is Antonio Guterres. Major resolutions need 2/3 majority to pass, minor decisions need ½ majorities.
Security council of the UN
Ensures peace and security to the world. It can approve peacekeeping missions, establish economic sanctions, and authorize military actions. There are 15 members of the security council and 10 are rotating while there are 5 who are permanent and they have veto power.

Connects nations, partners, and people to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable so that everyone, everywhere can attain the highest level of health.

Tasked with coordinating economic and social development through formulating policy recommendations.
International Court of Justice Of the UN
Tasked with settling disputes b/w nations per international law. The UN is the primary court for settling international disputes and this subgroup handles that. The judges are appointed by the General Assembly and the Security Council for up to 9 years.
