ELEMENTS - Direct Assault

1. That the offender makes an attack, employs force, makes serious desistance or serious intimidation.

2. The person assaulted is a person in authority or an agent of a person in authority

3. At the time of the assault, the person in authority or his agent is engaged in the performance of his official functions, or the assault was done on occasion of such performance of official function

4. The offender knows that he is a person in authority or agent of person in authority

5. There is no public uprising

Elements - Indirect Assault

1. The person in authority or an agent of person in authority is a victim of Direct Assault

2. Someone came to his aid

3. The said offender employed force or intimidation on that someone who gives aids to the said person in authority who is the victim of the offense.

Elements - Resistance and Serious Disobedience

1. That a person in authority or agent is engaged in the performance of his official functions or gives lawful order

2. That the offender disobeys or resisted the said order

3. The resistance or disobedience is serious in nature, but does not amount to Direct Assault, Indirect Assault, or Disobedience to Summons

Elements - Simple Disobedience

1. An agent of person in authority gives a lawful order

2. The offender disobeys the said order

3. Such disobedience is not serious in nature
