The In House window

is where you are able to search for any guests that are checked in.

Advanced check in

can be performed for individual reasons, including walk in reservations, pre-registered reservations, reservations that are currently in the queue, and group block reservations. 

The Open Folios feature in OPERA Cloud

enables you to check a guest out and leave the folio open for any additional charges that will be charged to the guest.

The Changes Log window 

contains a record of all actions performed in OPERA Cloud.

The End of Day

sequence reconciles folios, processes, credit card transactions, generates postings, calculates revenue, prints daily statistics, and provides a cumulative balance of AR accounts. 

A Skip discrepancy

is when the front office shows a room's status as occupied, but housekeeping finds the room to be empty and updates the status of the room as vacant on their end in OPERA Cloud.

A Sleep discrepancy

is when the front office shows a room's status as vacant, but housekeeping finds the room to be occupied by a guest and updates the status of the room as such from their end in OPERA Cloud.
