Sampling Distribution
The probability distribution of a given statistic based on a random sample
Central Limit Theorem (CLT)
States that, given a sufficiently large sample size, the sampling distribution of the sample mean will be approximately normally distributed, regardless of the population's distribution
Standard Error (SE)
The standard deviation of a sampling distribution, measuring the precision of a sample statistic as an estimate of the population parameter
Unbiased Estimator
A statistic whose expected value is equal to the true value of the parameter being estimated
Law of Large Numbers
States that as the sample size increases, the sample mean will get closer to the population mea
