to conduct a pilot study to see wether a funhaler would increase medical compliance in young children with asmtha.

procedure.
parents of children with asthma contacted and the study was explained to them, consent was then gathered.
then one parent was interviwed using questionare one, and was asked about thier attitude and their Childs attitudes to there existing cs.
then the funhaler was given to them for 2 weeks and assessed over the phone about the use on the previous day
att the edn the same parent took questionare 2.
results
adherence of 81% of children used the funhaler compared to 59% using the cs
80% of the children took four or more breaths using the funhaler.
conclusions
funhaler is usefull in improving complience rates for spacer use in young children thus reducing asthsma attackes.
