What are the 3 marks of existence?
Anicca means impermanence. This means everything must end, for example life. It also means everything is changing, for example a rivers shape is changing.
What is the meaning of Anicca?
Anatta means no permanent soul. This means everything is changing, including you. There is no ‘you’ and the ‘you’ part of you is an illusion. If there is no you then there is no reason to be selfish.
What does Anatta mean?
Dukka means life is suffering. This means accepting that life is unfulfilling and unsatisfactory. For example, the Buddha seeing and almost experiencing death.
