Motion
the act or process of changing position.

Speed
?=Distance/time
? is a rate of motion

Energy
the ability to cause change, the ability to do work, measured in Joules.

Force
the ability to cause change, ( a push or a pull) measured in Newtons

Frame of Reference
A place to which the position of an object or the motion of an object can be described.

Work
?=force/distance

Kinetic energy
Energy in the form of motion being currently used.

Potential energy
Stored energy, not being used energy stored within an object due to it’s postion.

Law of conservation of energy
Energy can not be created or destroyed. Can only be converted or transferred.

Conversion (or transformation)
Energy can only be converted (change type)

Transfer
Transferred to one object to another (change object

Kinetic energy
The amount of kinetic energy an object has depends on it, as an objects speed increases it’s KE as an objects mass increases, its KE.

Gravitational potential energy
The amount of GPE an object has depends on its, as an objects height increases its GPE, as an object mass increases, it’s GPE
