dural venous sinuses: takes blood from the brain and cerebrospinal fluid, draining them into the internal jugular veins.

superior vena cava/inferior vena cava: carry blood from the body to the right atrium; largest veins in the body

posterior intercostal veins: collects blood from the vertebrae and thoracic wall

hemiazygos veins: collects blood from the posterior thoracic wall and parts of the abdominal wall into the superior vena cava via the azygos.

right and left brachiocephalic veins: draining blood from thorax into superior vena cava.

internal thoracic veins: draining the posterior skull and the cervical spinal cord.

anterior intercostal veins: draining blood from the anterior thoracic wall

superior thyroid vein: drains into internal jugular vein

vertebral veins: draining the posterior skull and the cervical spinal cord.

right and left subclavian veins: Collects blood from the upper limbs, neck, and portions of the thorax and drains it into the brachiocephalic veins.

Left and Right Internal Jugular Veins: drain the dural venous sinuses as well as the facial veins which drain superficial regions of the face.

external jugular vein: drains blood from the exterior of the cranium and the deep regions of the face

dural venous sinuses: collects blood from the eyes as well as blood and cerebrospinal fluid from the brain; goes to internal jugular veins and brachiocephalic veins

axillary veins: Draining blood from the upper limbs and parts of the chest wall, these veins connect the basilic and brachial veins to the subclavian veins.

basilic vein: found along the medial superficial arm and forearm; deliver blood to the axillary vein

brachial vein: found deep within the arm

radial and ulnar veins: deep veins draining blood from the hand and forearm

common facial vein: collect blood from your face

palmer vein: empty blood into the basilic vein as well as the cephalic vein

cephalic vein: running along the lateral superficial forearm and arm. Deliver blood to the axillary veins.

median cubital vein: a common site of blood sample collection.

venous palmer arch: drains blood from the palm and fingers

right and left common iliac veins:
veins that bring blood from deep pelvic structures and the lower limbs

internal iliac vein: Drains blood from the pelvis and gluteal region

external iliac vein: a continuation of the femoral vein; drains blood from the lower limb and parts of the abdominal wall

femoral vein: receives blood from the muscles of the thigh as wall as from the great saphenous vein

great saphenous vein: receives blood from the dorsal venous arch of the foot and runs along the medial surface of the leg and thigh

venous arch (dorsal/planter): drains blood from the deeper structures of the foot.

popliteal vein: The vein that forms when the anterior and posterior tibial veins unite at the knee; drains blood from the knee joint, lower leg

anterior tibial vein: collects blood from the anterior tibial region (anterior side of the leg); unites with the popliteal vein

posterior tibial vein: drains blood from the posterior part of the leg and the plantar venous arch

fibular vein: drains blood into posterior tibial vein and planter venous arch

hepatic veins: carry blood from the liver to the inferior vena cava

hepatic portal vein: delivers nutrient-rich blood to the liver for processing and detoxification before going through the rest of the circulation.

splenic vein: drains blood from the spleen

superior mesenteric vein: drains the small intestine, large intestine and stomach

inferior mesenteric vein: drains the large intestine

left and right ovarian vein: rains blood from the right ovary and usually empties directly into the inferior vena cava.

left and right testicular vein: drains blood from the right testis and typically empties directly into the inferior vena cava.

lumbar veins: they empty into the inferior vena cava and azygos vein

right and left internal thoracic veins: take blood from the chest and, draining into the brachiocephalic veins.

anterior intercostal vein: takes blood from the intercostal spaces, draining into the azygos system

posterior intercostal vein: takes blood from the intercostal spaces draining into the azygos system

right inferior phrenic vein: : drains from diaphragm into the inferior vena cava

hemiazygos vein: takes blood from the thoracic wall and abdominal wall, draining into the azygos vein

azygos vein: drains blood from the chest wall and empties into the superior vena cava
