Safety Boots
Safety boots are shoes made with a protective reinforcement at the front making them quite durable. The reinforcement helps to protect the toes from falling objects or any kind of compression. They are normally installed with a sole plate in the main sole to prevent against punctures that may come from below.
Back Support
A back belt is a device used, in theory, to reduce the forces on the spine, increase intra-abdominal pressure, stiffen the spine and reduce loads during lifting.
Face Shields
A face shield is a device used to protect wearer’s entire face (or part of it) from hazards such as flying objects and road debris, chemical splashes (in the industry), or potentially infectious materials (in medical and laboratory environments).
Hard Hats
A hard hat is a type of helmet predominantly used in workplace environments such as industrial or construction sites to protect the head from injury due to falling objects, impact with other objects, debris, rain, and electric shock.
Dust Mask
A dust mask is a flexible pad held over the nose and mouth by elastic or rubber straps to protect against specks of dust encountered during construction or cleaning activities.
Respiratory Mask
A device designed to protect the wearer from inhaling hazardous atmospheres, including particulate matter such as dust and airborne microorganisms, as well as hazardous fumes, vapors, and gases.
Safety Glasses and Safety Goggles
Protective eyewear that usually encloses or protects the area surrounding the eye in order to prevent particulates, water or chemicals from striking the eyes. Safety glasses (bottom image) allow air in and around the eye area while safety goggles (top image) fit tight against the face, offering protection against dust and splashes.
Welding Helmets
A welding helmet is a type of headgear used when performing certain types of welding to protect the eyes, face, and neck from flash burn, ultraviolet light, sparks, infrared light, and heat.
Hearing Protectors
Worn in or over the ears while exposed to hazardous noise to help prevent noise-induced hearing loss. These devices reduce the level of noise entering the ear.
Electric Motor Brake
a safety feature incorporated into many modern power tools. This mechanism is designed to prevent injuries resulting from things like kickback or skin-to-blade contact. It causes the motor to quickly rotate in the opposite direction, which, by inertia, causes the motor to quickly come to a stop. This allows the motor to stop much faster than it would without the brake.
