Physical Therapy (Physiotherapy)
A form of therapy that uses exercise to help with pain and movement, in place of medicine.
S.O.A.P.
Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan - used to measure reaction/comparative.
Subjective (in S.O.A.P.)
Information based on the patient's feelings and self-reports (e.g., pain level).
Objective (in S.O.A.P.)
Measurable and observable data, such as manual muscle testing results.
Sprain
An injury where ligaments are overstretched and in the joint capsule
Strain
An injury where a muscle or tendon is overstretched.
