Limbic System

The part of the hypothalamus that regulates feelings of satiety.
Pituitary Gland
The master gland controlled by the hypothalamus, responsible for hormone secretion, such as growth hormone and oxytocin.
Oxytocin
A hormone that promotes pair bonding, group cohesion, and social trust.
Endocrine System
A collection of glands that secrete hormones traveling through the bloodstream.
Adrenal Gland
Glands that are involved in the body's flight-or-fight response.
Amygdala
A brain structure involved in processing emotions like fear and anger.
Hippocampus
A brain structure essential for storing information into long-term memory, including spatial memory.
