Tricking users into revealing secrets via fake emails/links.
Encryption
Scrambling data so it cannot be read without a key.
Malware
Bad software (Viruses, Ransomware) that harms computers.
COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)
A law that protects the privacy of children under 13. Apps cannot collect data from kids without parent permission.
FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)
Protects student education records. Teachers cannot share your grades or info publicly or via unsecured email.
Fair Use
Allows you to use small parts of copyrighted material without permission for specific reasons: Education, News, Parody, or Review.
