What principle does EEO promote?

Selection and promotion by merit, not personal characteristics.

What is the purpose of the EEO Act (2020)?

To eliminate discrimination based on various factors including sex, race, and age; to eliminate harassment; and to promote equality.

How is EEO achieved in the workplace?

Through fair management practices, recognition of diversity, proper recruitment and promotion, linking training to needs, and creating a harassment-free environment.
