Refers to art of any form and genre produced in our contemporary time, simply put as “art created today.”
Modern Art
Ranges from the end of the 19th Century until the 1970’s or 1980’s or the late 20th Century.
Contemporary Art
Is influenced by the economic, social, political and environmental context where the artist is immersed in.
Pop Art
Including imagery from popular and mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane mass-produced objects
