Film Production (Process)
The sequence of technical and creative steps required to bring a motion picture from concept to completed film.
Technical (Filmmaking)
The practical and technological aspects of filmmaking, including equipment use, camera work, and production design.
Costumes
Clothing and accessories worn by actors to signify characters’ identities, styles, time period, and social status.
Make-up
Cosmetics applied to actors to enhance appearance, create characters, or achieve specific visual effects.
Sounds
All auditory elements of a film, such as dialogue, music, sound effects, and ambient noise.
Rehearsals
Practice sessions in which actors and crew refine performances and test technical aspects before filming.
Lightings
The strategic use of illumination to achieve desired visual effects and set the mood of scenes in a film.
Producer
The person who oversees the entire film project, secures financing, manages budgets, and keeps production on schedule.
Director

Costume Designer
Designs and selects garments that define characters’ identities and the film’s time and place, working closely with the director.
Cinematographer (Director of Photography)
The chief camera and lighting expert who decides on camera angles, lighting setups, and shot composition to achieve the desired visual style.
Editor
Assembles and cuts footage to create the final film, shaping story and pacing while coordinating with sound and visual-effects teams.
Actors
Performers who interpret and portray characters based on the script and director’s guidance, collaborating to create believable interactions.
Music Supervisor
Selects and licenses music, working with director and editor to enhance scenes’ emotional impact and coordinating with composers for original scores.
