post: ant border of trapezius
inf: middle 1/3 clavicle
apex: SCM insertion on temporal bone

anterior neck triangle divisions

submandibular (digastric), carotid, muscular, suprahyoid

posterior neck triangle divisions

occipital, supraclavicular (subclavian)

submandibular (digastric) triangle contents

submandibular gland/lymph nodes, hypoglossal nerve, mylohyoid nerve, parts of facial artery and vein

carotid triangle contents

common carotid, external carotid, internal jugular, vagus nerve, hypoglossal nerve, sup root ansa cervicalis, spinal accessory nerve, branches of cervical plexus, thyroid gland, larynx, pharynx, deep cervical lymph nodes

muscular triangle contents

sternothyroid and sternohyoid muscles, thyroid and parathyroid glands

suprahyoid (submental) triangle contents

submental lymph nodes, small veins that unite to form ant jugular

occipital triangle contents

occipital nerve crosses at apex, external jugular vein, transverse cervical artery, post branches of cervical plexus, trunks of brachial plexus, spinal accessory nerve, cervical lymph node

supraclavicular (subclavian) triangle contents

subclavian artery, subclavian vein, suprascapular artery, supraclavicular lymph nodes
