Leader of Nazi Germany(1933-1945). Started WW2 by invading poland (1939). Led the Holocaust. died by suicide in April 1945.

British Prime Minister (1937-1940). Known for his policy of appeasement, signing the Munich Pact with Hitler in 1938
Winston Churchill
: British Prime Minister (1940-1945). Led Britain through WWII, opposed appeasement, and inspired resistance against the Nazis.
Benito Mussolini
Fascist dictator of Italy (1922-1943). Allied with Hitler in the Axis Powers. Overthrown in 1943 and executed in 1945.
Joseph Stalin
Leader of the Soviet Union (1924-1953). Signed the Nazi-Soviet Pact (1939) but later joined the Allies after Germany invaded the USSR (1941).
Franklin D. Roosevelt
U.S. President (1933-1945). Led the U.S. during most of WWII, signed the Lend-Lease Act, and joined the war after Pearl Harbor.
Dwight D. Eisenhower
Supreme Allied Commander in Europe. Led the D-Day invasion (1944) and later became U.S. President (1953-1961).
General Erwin Rommel
German general ("Desert Fox"). Led Nazi forces in North Africa (Battle of El Alamein). Involved in a plot against Hitler and forced to commit suicide.
General Douglas MacArthur
U.S. general in the Pacific Theater. Led island hopping and oversaw Japan’s surrender. Famous for saying, “I shall return” after leaving the Philippines.
General Hideki Tojo
Japanese Prime Minister and military leader. Ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor (1941). Executed for war crimes after WWII.
Emperor Hirohito
Emperor of Japan during WWII. Surrendered in August 1945 after the atomic bombings. Remained emperor but lost political power.
