What does a quarterback do?

The player who takes the snap from the center and decides to hand off, passes, or run the ball. (Offensive)

What does the running-back do?

The player who usually lines up behind the QB and mostly runs the ball/sometimes catches and locks. (They use an eagle grip on the ball) (Offensive )

What does a center do?

The player who blocks during the running and passing plays. (Offensive)

What does a Guard/Tackle do?

The player who blocks during running and passing plays. (offensive)

What does a wide receiver do?

The player who runs pass patterns, and catches the ball. (Offensive)

What does a tight end do?

The ONLY player on the offensive line that blocks and catches the ball. (Offensive)

What does a nose guard/tackles/defensive end do?

The player who rushes the QB and stops the run.

What does the Linebackers do?

The player that helps stop the run and covers potential receivers.

What does a Defensive backs (corner/safeties) do?

This is the player who mainly covers the receivers and assist on the running plays.

What is safety?
