PEB (Ch. 450) is located within DSPS (Ch. 440). Both the DSPS and PEB were created by WI Chapter 15 (Structure of the executive branch)

  2. Nominated by the governor, approved by the senate

  3. No more than 2 consecutive terms

    1. If there has been a break between terms, it’s ok!

  4. May not be employed by a private org that promotes the profession regulated by that board

    1. ACCP, ASHP, PSW

    2. You can be a MEMBER of the orgs but not EMPLOYED by them

  5. Public members (and their spouses) cannot be engaged in the profession regulated by that board

    1. We don’t want them to be influenced by the profession
