Me llamo Sarena. Tengo quince años y mi cumpleaños es el ocho de marzo. Como persona yo soy optimista, ambiciosa y tranquila. Tengo los ojos marrones, pelo negro largo , gafas y soy alta pero yo solía ser corto.

My name is Sarena. I am fifteen years old and my birthday is March 8. As a person I am optimistic, ambitious and chill. I have brown eyes, long black hair, glasses and I am tall but I used to be short.

Si ganaras la lotería ¿cómo celebrarías tu cumpleaños?

If you won the lottery, how would you celebrate your birthday?

Me iría de vacaciones a Disney World en Florida, Estados Unidos y luego iría a visitar a mis abuelos. También, me encanta comprar, así que usaría ese dinero para comprar ropa y bolsas.

I would go on vacation to Disney World in America Florida and then go visit my grandparents. Also, I love shopping, so I would use that money to buy clothes and bags.

How did you celebrate your last birthday?

Para celebrar mi cumpleaños, fuimos al centro comercial con mi familia donde compramos regalos. Después, salimos a comer al restaurante 'Olive Tree' en Milton Keynes. Me encantó mucho!

To celebrate my birthday, we went to the mall with my family where we bought gifts. After we went out to eat at the 'Olive Tree' restaurant in Milton Keynes. I really loved it!

Un buen novio es alguien que me apoya, me escucha, me quiere mucho, me hace reír y nunca me juzga. Como persona debiera ser gracioso, divertido y fiel.

A good boyfriend is someone who supports me, listens to me, loves me very much, makes me laugh and never judges me. As a person, he should be funny, fun and faithful.

Mi mejor amigo se llama Manha. Ella tiene 15 años y es muy graciosa y amable. Ella me hace reír, tiene ojos marrones, pelo moreno largo, tiene la cara alargada, gafas y ella es la mejor. También ella es alta pero soy más alta. Hemos sido amigos durante los últimos 10 años.

My best friend is called Manha. She’s 15 and is very funny and kind. She makes me laugh, has brown eyes, long brown hair, has a long face, glasses and she is the best. Also she is tall but I am taller. We’ve been friends for the last 10 years.

¿Crees que el matrimonio (y las bodas) son importantes hoy en día? ... ¿Por qué (no)?

Do you think marriage (and weddings) are important today? ... Why (not)?

A mi parecer, el matrimonio es importante ya que es una buen manera de demostrar el amor y me gustaría tener hijos Aunque otros dicen que no es necesario para tener una familia. También, muchas parejas se divorcian hoy en dia.

In my opinion, marriage is important as it is a good way to show love and I would like to have children although others say that it is not necessary to have a family. Also, many couples are getting divorced nowadays.

¿Qué tal te llevas con tu familia?

How are you getting along with your family?

Me llevo bien con mi familia porque me apoyan y me aceptan como soy. En general diría que me llevo bien con mis padres aunque sean estrictos a veces. También me llevo super bien con mi hermano ya que tenemos mucho en común.

I get along with my family because they support me and accept me as I am. Generally I would say that I get along with my parents even if they are strict sometimes. We also get along super well with my brother since we have a lot in common.

¿Cuáles son las ventajas e inconvenientes de ser hijo único/hija única o de tener una familia numerosa?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of being an only child/son or having a large family?

Las ventajas de tener una buena familia con cuatro personas es que nunca me aburro y siempre tendré alguien con quien hablar. La desventaja es que a veces discutimos porque nos vemos la una a la otra todos los días.

The advantage of having a good family with four people is that I never get bored and always have someone to talk to. The downside is that we sometimes argue because we see each other every day.

¿Cómo se distribuyen las tareas domésticas en tu casa?

How are housework tasks distributed in your home?

La forma en que las tareas en mi casa se distribuye es que mi madre cocina y limpia en casa, mi padre lava la ropa, Siempre he hecho los platos y mi hermano sólo limpia su propia habitación.

The way our house is distributed is that my mother cooks and cleans at home, my father washes clothes, I always do the dishes and my brother just cleans his own room.

Nos despertamos a las 11 y desayunamos. Luego nos vestimos y fuimos a la playa de Bournemouth. Llegamos al hotel a las 3 y pasamos el resto del día en la playa. Al día siguiente comimos en un restaurante

We woke up at 11 and had breakfast. Then we got dressed and went to the beach in Bournemouth. We arrived at the hotel at 3 and spent the rest of the day on the beach. The next day we ate in a restaurant

Describe un problema que tengas en casa o en el colegio.

Describe a problem you have at home or school.

Un problema en mi colegio es el acoso escolar. Hay unos alumnos que se burlan de otros y son una mala influencia. Personalmente, no apoyo el acoso y creo que es muy grosero e inútil. Tambien, es importante que la gente esté educada en ciberacoso.

One problem in my school is bullying. There are some students who make fun of others and are a bad influence. Personally, I will always make my friends feel part of the gang.
