Why do some people think Jesus is insulting Peter when He calls him the Rock?

Jesus isn't speaking in Greek but in Aramaic, which means the word for rock used was 'Cepha' which can be anything from the biggest boulder to the smallest pebble. In the Greek translation of the Bible this was changed, so we do not say that Jesus meant 'tiny pebble.' Also, giving someone the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven/Establishing your Church on someone isn't the normal place to have an insult.
