Risk Factors for developing PTSD
gender, prior trauma, pre existing mental illness, lower SES, less education, childhood adversity, severity of trauma, development of acute stress response

Trauma focused therapy, stress inoculation therapy, SSRI, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing EMDR
