Collective Identity
The shared sense of belonging and connection among group or community members based on common experiences, beliefs, and values.
Reality control
The manipulation or distortion of information, events, and perceptions to shape people's understanding of what is real and what is not, often employed by authoritarian regimes or through propaganda techniques.
Psychological control
The use of psychological techniques, manipulation, or coercion to influence individuals thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and emotions, often employed by authorities or in authoritarian systems to maintain control over populations.
Propaganda
Information, ideas, or messages, often biased or misleading, spread deliberately to promote a particular ideology, agenda, viewpoint, or cause and to influence public opinion and behavior.
Orwellian
a term derived from the writings of George Orwell, particularly his novel "1984." It describes a society characterized by oppressive control, surveillance, propaganda, and the manipulation of information by a totalitarian government or authority. It often connotes a dystopian reality where individual freedom and truth are severely restricted or distorted to benefit those in power.
Totalitarianism
A political system characterized by absolute centralized control by the state over all aspects of public and private life, often involving repression of dissent and the presence of a single party or leader.
Indoctrination
The process of teaching or instructing individuals to accept a set of beliefs or principles uncritically, often without allowing for alternative perspectives or critical thinking.
Subversion
The act of undermining or destabilizing established authority, institutions, or norms, often through covert means.
Tyranny
The Arbitrary or oppressive exercise of power by a ruler or government, often characterized by the violation of individual rights and liberties.
Dissent

Autonomy

Apathy
Lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern, often leading to indifference or inaction in response to important issues or events.
Vigilance
Alertness, watchfulness, or readiness to detect and respond to potential dangers, threats, or problems.
Insubordination
Defiance of authority or refusal to obey orders or instructions from a superior authority
