A religious tolerant period where khans reunited some states that were captured and took traditions.
What were the “good” things about the Mongol Empire?
Increasing communication, creating international law, improved Silk Road with bridges and roads, and created a free trade zone

Long distance trade and educated people
What were the “bad” things about the Mongol Empire?
Were known to be brutal for ruthless killing, robbery, and destruction, known for being a cause of the Black Death, and became unrecognizable during the 15th century after joining the Persians.

An Islamic state that grew extremely wealthy and powerful by taxing merchants who came on their land

Someone that got rich off of the trade by trading gold which devalued it quite a lot.

Since every region was good at creating goods, it became a massive hit in terms of demand.

A way of buddhism that was explained in Daoist terms that caused syncretism

Military and conquering being able to happen, as well as epidemic diseases

A place situated in China that was the most important trading city

A Muslim Scholar who traveled in Dar-al Islam during 30 years, and made notes about their culture which brought popularity to the region
Who was Marco Polo?
Traveled to India, China, and the Indian Ocean and wrote about his experiences which caught the eyes of Europe.
Who was Margery Kemp?
A Christian mystic who went to Christian Holy Sites who recorded her journeys and influenced Christianity in Europe and the Middle East
Why were bananas and citrus fruit important?
Increased diet population and growth which made people more nomadic
What was the bubonic plague?
A diseases caused by an infected flea that bit into humans, which will multiply the bacteria and overload your organs.
How much damage did the Black Death cause?
It killed a third of the Middle East and half of Europe, and lasted over 1000 years.
