However the two did abuse consistutional power, such as secret bombing of Cambodia

Refers to Nixon meeting with Mao Zedong, creating trade deals and recognizing China
As well with Russia, as seen with the Moscow Summit and Arms Treaty
Used the two to pit them off each other, increasing tension/suspition between the two

A part of the Watergate scandal and important to the pumbers
Following Watergate, he became one of the largest defenders of the Executive branch and practically a scapegoat for the entire scandal to forget itself on
