Undifferentiated
Refers to cancer cells that lack the specialized structures and functions of normal cells.
Asymmetry
A characteristic where one half of a mole or spot differs from the other half in size, shape, or color.
Carcinoma
Cancer originating in epithelial cells lining internal and external body surfaces.
Examples of carcinoma
Breast, lung, and prostate cancer.
Mutation of cellular genes
Leads to abnormal cell growth.
Lack of cell division limit
Allows cells to proliferate uncontrollably.
Contact inhibition
Normal cells stop dividing when they come into contact with other cells.
Grow invade tissue
Cancer cells can grow uncontrollably and invade surrounding tissues.
