Pensive (adj.)

Vial (n.)
Small bottle containing medicine or other liquids. Sentence: The vial was filled with expensive perfume.
Enjoined (v.)
ordered. Sentence: The jurors were enjoined not to discuss the case.
Wayward (adj.)
headstrong. Sentence: The wayward boy did not listen to anyone and insisted on playing in the dirty puddle.
Dismal (adj.)
causing gloom or misery. Sentence: The dismal sight of his abandoned house made the old man sad.
