Dukkha
The truth of suffering; birth, ageing, sickness, death, associating with disagreeable people, unpleasant thing, separation from loved ones and pleasant thing. Clinging.
Samodhaya
Tanha = rebirth
Nirodha
The cessation of Tanha; dettaching.
Magga
The path to end suffering, known as The Noble Eightfold Path.
Noble Eightfold Path
Middle Path. Right Understanding, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, Right Concentration.
Tanha
Craving or thirst; considered the cause of suffering, including desire for sensory pleasure, existence or non-existence.
Four Noble Truths
The foundation of all Buddhist teachings regarding suffering: 1. Dukkha (suffering exists), 2. Samudaya (suffering has a cause), 3. Nirodha (suffering can end), 4. Magga (there is a path to end suffering).
Nirvana
The state of perfect peace and freedom from suffering; the ultimate goal in Buddhism where there is no more rebirth.
