Verbs ending in -er

• Je —> j’ai

• Nous avons (nous avons not nous on its own)

Manger → mange (remove the r, add an accent)

Etre: have to change the ending depending on the subject

E.g female, add an e. Or plural you add an s to the end

• Monter, Rentrer, Sortir(go out)

Often change to a -u or -t ending

Change to -i ending
