Observation

Natural phenomenon or pattern in data that is noticed which inspires question and research

Hypothesis

Educated guess or possible explanation hat can be tested

Data

Results are analysed and conclusion are formed. Hypothesis is supported or rejected

Experiment

Aim to prove or disprove a hypothesis through experimentation

Publication

Share findings in a scientific journal which may promote others to test/experiment

Theory/principle

Repeated experimentation can be rejected or changed. Theories supported over time are called principals
