Administrative home of LAS which is 2nd largest isu college. 50+ majors/programs including open option program. Catt Hall go to location for support in academic advising, recruitment, and study abroad. 14 additional LAS buildings

Plaza of Heroines

Plaza of Heroines contains 600 bricks with names of women who have made a difference like Oprah Winfrey and Rosa Parks

Honors Program

Jisskey honors building. Allows early research experience, leadership opportunities, unique seminars, community, etc.

Other Buildings

Farm House Museum built in 1860 is oldest building on campus and first classroom, library, and office building on campus. Ross Hall is home of English, linguistics, technical communication, womens and gender studies, etc.

General Campus Safety

Campus well lit, Officers 24/7, Students should have ISUPD’s nonemergency number. ISU alert sent through phone, text, email warning of any immediate safety concerns

Iowa State Safe

Saferide 6 pm-5:30 am, mobile blue light- a silent alarm if unsafe, Friend walk- sends text to friend and they can monitor progress, Virtual walk home- like friend walk but ISU police monitor.

Student Assistance and outreach office

Support students through personal and academic challenges. Communicate emergency situations to faculty on student behalf, coordinate appropriate intervention strategies
