TITLE 1: Music Licensing Modernization Act
Established the MLC. (Mechanical Licensing Collective)
Established the DLC. (Digital Licensing Coordinator)
Created a blanket license for streaming services.
TITLE 2: Classics Protection Act
Brought pre-1972 songs into the Federal Copyright system and gave royalty compensation for artists that released hit songs before 1972.
TITLE 3: Allocation For Music Producers Act
Allows producers, sound engineers, and mixers involved in the creative process of a song to make royalties and revieve compensation.
Digital Licensee Coordinator
A nonprofit entity that coordinates licenses and is a designated nonvoting members of the MLC.
