Fertilization
Refers to the meeting of the female sex cell (ova) and the male sex cell (spermatozoa).

Where sex cells are developed.
Zygote
The fertilized egg cell that contains all the hereditary potentials from the parents.
Genes
The small particles in a string-like formation. They are the true carries of heredity characteristics of the parents.
Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA)
A substance within the gene which is the code of heredity. It contains information and instructions about the newly created organism, and programs the traits that should be inherited.
Heredity (Nature)
The transmission of traits or characteristics from parents to offspring. It provides the raw materials of which the individual is made up.
Environment (Nurture)
The sum total of the forces or experiences that a person undergoes from conception to old age. It also includes family, friends, school, nutrition, and other agencies one is in contact with.
Anorexia Nervosa
People with this disorder may see themselves as overweight, even when they are dangerously underweight. They typically weigh themselves repeatedly,severely restrict the amount of food they eat, and eat very small quantities of only certain foods.
Bulimia Nervosa
People with this disorder have recurrent and frequent episodes of eating unusually large amounts of food and feeling a lack of control over these episodes. This binge-eating is followed by behavior that compensates for the overeating such as forced vomiting, excessive use of laxatives, fasting, etc.
Binge-eating Disorder
People with this disorder lose control over his or her eating. It is not followed by purging, excessive exercise, or fasting. As a result, people with this disorder often are overweight or obese.
Beauty
The quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations, a meaningful design or pattern, or something else.

How you see yourself as a person.
Self-esteem
How you value and respect yourself as a person. It’s all about how much you feel you are worth — and how much you feel other people value you.
