Article 1: DUTIES TO THE PROFESSION Section 1
A Master Plumber shall discharge his/her duties with unqualified sincerity to his/her clients and employers and act, at all times, with fairness and impartiality to all, having due regard to public safety and welfare.

A Master Plumber shall uphold the honor and dignity of his/her profession and, therefore, shall avoid association or dealings with any person or entity with known questionable character

A Master Plumber shall strive, at all times, to upgrade his/her skill and knowledge in his/her chosen field through attendance or participation in skills upgrading initiatives, and continuing technical education to be able to provide the best possible service to the public,

A Master Plumber shall only advertise or promote his/her work in a discreet manner and avoid any practice that will discredit or do injury to the dignity and honor of his/her profession.

A Master Plumber shall endeavor to educate the public in every possible way about the intricacies of plumbing, and shall discourage or avoid spreading untrue, unfair, and exaggerated statements about plumbing

A Master Plumber shall give due regard, at all times, for the protection of life, safety and health of his/her colleagues and other workers, as well as of the general public, including all property that may be affected by his/her work or practice.

A Master Plumber shall not hesitate to express his/her opinion on matters about plumbing especially when such opinion is sought, while ensuring that the same is founded on adequate knowledge and information and honest appreciation of the relevant issues and facts.

A Master Plumber shall issue only relevant statements, criticisms, opinions, arguments or other views on matters affecting the plumbing profession or industry, especially when public interest and safety are involved.
Article 2: DUTIES TO CLIENT AND EMPLOYER Section 1
A Master Plumber shall always be fair, impartial and reasonable in providing professional services to his/her clients, employers and contractors in accordance with mandated contractual obligations.
Article 2: DUTIES TO CLIENT AND EMPLOYER Section 2
A Master Plumber, in providing professional services, shall ensure that his/her use or need for apparatus, other equipment, machinery or devices in which he/she has financial interests is properly clarified in the contract or agreement to avoid any conflict of interest.
Article 2: DUTIES TO CLIENT AND EMPLOYER Section 3
A Master Plumber shall, at all times, ensure that procedures and systems are in place to avoid any eventuality that may pose danger or threat to the life, health, or property on any work or undertaking for which he/she is responsible, or if not viable or possible, he/she shall bring such matters to the attention of those responsible.

A Master Plumber shall present clearly, to all those affected, the known possible consequences or limitations of the work for which he/she will be responsible.

A Master Plumber shall honestly advise his/her clients or employer if there is a need to engage the services of other experts and specialists. Should this be the case, he/she shall endeavor to cooperate with the latter as may be necessary to protect the interests of his/her client or employer

A Master Plumber shall practice propriety at all times, and shall avoid engaging or accepting compensation from more than one interested party pertaining to the same professional service and work, without the consent of all affected parties.

A Master Plumber shall not divulge, without the consent of his/her client or employer, confidential matters or information which has come to his/her knowledge on account of their official business engagement.

A Master Plumber shall not be financially interested in the bids of a contractor on competitive work for which he/she has been or expects to be employed as such, unless he/she has obtained the consent of his/her client or employer and that such is allowed under existing laws.

A Master Plumber shall promptly disclose to his/her client or employer any interest which he/she may have in another business or transaction that may conflict with or affect his/her decision regarding the plumbing work/s for which he/she is employed or in which he/she may be called upon to perform.
Article 3: DUTIES TO FELLOW MASTER PLUMBERS Section 1
A Master Plumber shall endeavor, at all times, to protect the plumbing profession against misrepresentation, manipulation, fraud or unfair criticism.
Article 3: DUTIES TO FELLOW MASTER PLUMBERS Section 2
A Master Plumber shall give credit for any plumbing work undertaken to the person to whom the credit is legally due.

A Master Plumber shall live up to the standards of the professional practice of plumbing

A Master Plumber shall not directly or indirectly injure the professional reputation, prospects, or practice of his fellow master plumbers. Accordingly, he/she shall bring to the proper forum for appropriate action, any violation of the rules, and unethical or unprofessional practices.
Article 3: DUTIES TO FELLOW MASTER PLUMBERS Section 5
A Master Plumber shall not compete with another master plumber on the basis of compensation for a particular work through underbidding, after the results of a public bidding have been announced, or after having gained advanced information thereon.
Article 4: FINAL PROVISIONS Section 1
The Board for Master Plumbers holds the exclusive authority to revise, amend, or update this "Code of Ethics and Rules of Conduct for the Practice of the Master Plumbing Profession", as may be necessary, to reflect changes in the professional practice, technology, regulatory and/or when public interest so requires.
Article 4: FINAL PROVISIONS Section 2
Violation of any provision of this "Code of Ethics and Rules of Conduct for the Practice of the Master Plumbing Profession" shall constitute unethical, unprofessional, and dishonorable conduct, and the erring party shall be subject to disciplinary action by the Board. This is without prejudice to any liability that the violator may incur under other applicable laws and/or regulations
