Supply chain- connects to coal mines and factories and made faster transportation

Adam smith and capitalism?

He was called “Captain Capitilis” which was from the creation of free market, Laissez-faire, supply & demand

Laissez-faire?

Supports free markets

Mass production?

creates lower prices, a consequence of the factory system

Division of labor

each person preforms one or two specific jobs in the factory, speeding up the process

Exploitation of women, children, the poor?

working class taking advantage of in order to boost profits

Social Darwinism?

Survival of the fittest

“White mans burden”?

a racist justification for imperialism.  It was written by a British author who felt the need to “civilize” the “uncivilized”
