a person, group or organisation that has interest or concern in a system
utilitarianism
when you are designing a new system and try to design it for the greatest good for the greatest number of people

system flow chart
a type of diagram representing a process using different symbols containing information about steps or a sequence of events
data flow diagram (DFD)
a diagram that maps out the flow of information for any process or system
structure chart
a diagram that represents the organisation of a system, usually while showing the different parts in hierarchal order
prototypes
abstract representations of the system, often focusing on only one or two key aspects of the system
iteration
the action or process of iterating or repeating. It is a procedure in which repetition of a sequence of operations yields results successively closer to a desired result. It is also the repetition of a sequence of computer instructions a specified number of times or until a condition is met
