what is the ALBERT BANDURA model
The Albert Bandura model, known as social learning theory, emphasizes that people learn behaviors, attitudes, and emotional reactions through observation, imitation, and modeling of others, particularly in social contexts.
what is Vicarious Reinforcement:
See behaviour of other person with reward - more likely to partake in that behaviour.
stage 1 of ALBERT BANDURA model
attention- the learner must focus on the modeled behavior to retain the information.
stage 2 ALBERT BANDURA model
retention
the learner must store the observed behavior in memory for later reproduction.
stage 3 ALBERT BANDURA model
reproduction
the learner must be able to reproduce the observed behavior and have the physical and cognitive capability to do so.
stage 4 ALBERT BANDURA model
motivation
the learner must have a reason or incentive to perform the observed behavior, influenced by various factors such as rewards or punishments.
