What is the role of the king in the UK’s constitutional monarchy?

Notionally the king has the right to govern, but in reality he has a largely ceremonial power.

The king reigns but he does not rule. He can advise and warn the Prime Minister.

Real power lies with “His Majesty’s Government” and the cabinet (executive) and the House of Commons and the House of Lords (legislature)
