What is different between plant cells and animal cells?

Plant cells have the same organelles as animal cells and have a few extra:

• cellulose wall with plasmodesmata (channels for exchanging substances between adjacent cells)

• vacuole

• chloroplasts

What is different between plant cells and algal cells?

Algal cells are a lot like plant cells - they have all the same organelles, including a cellulose cell wall and chloroplasts.

However chloroplasts in many algal cells have a different shape and size to plant chloroplasts. some have one large chloroplast.
