Sin: Actions that are morally wrong, things that humans do which break God‘s law
Original sin: Many Christians believe that due to Adam and Eve, humans are born with a tendency to do wrong and choose sin
Incarnation
Becoming flesh. In Christianity God became a human
Crucifixion
Method of execution by being nailed or tied to a cross. Slow and painful.
Resurrection
Coming back to life after death
Ascension
It means rising up. Christians celebrate his journey up to heaven after his resurrection.
Salvation
The way that Christians believe that humans can be saved from sin by Jesus and enter heaven.
Means of salvation: law, grace and spirit
Law:Christians must obey the law of God, to show they are followers
Grace:Salvation is a gift that is accepted through repenance
Spirit: The holy spirit lives in the heart of believers to bring new life and free them from sin
Atonement
Restoring the relationship between humans abd God throughout his life, death, and resurrection
Judgement
Christians believe that we will all be judged by God, either straight after we die or when Jesus returns
