Cotton
The most widely used plant fiber. When the twist is very tight, it becomes a stronger fiber than wool. It burns at a slow rate and is one of the most versatile and most durable fibers. Fiber is relatively dimensionally stable but, like other cellulosic fibers, has low elasticity and resiliency. It is also one of the densest fibers.
Mosaic Glass
Varicolored glass canes were lightly fused together to form one thick rod, extended to the required length and thickness. When hard, it was sliced laterally, so that each slice had a colored pattern on it. The slices were then laid side by side in a mold and fused sufficiently so that they adhere to each other.

Bookmatch
Wherein alternating pieces of veneer are flipped over so they face each other as do the pages within a book. This creates a pleasing, symmetrical pattern.
Jute
Fiber which resembles flax, is a very long, and dimensionally stable. It is harsh, brittle, lints badly, and wrinkles easily limiting its use primarily to carpet and linoleum backing. It has been woven with aesthetic success into upholstery weight fabrics. Its UV protection, sound and heat insulation, low thermal conduction and anti-static properties make it a wise choice in home decor.
Murrhine
Fragile opalescent glassware made by the Romans and used for ornamental and useful purposes.
Pier Glass
A glass or mirror designed to stand on the floor against a wall or a surface.

Cotton
Known for comfort, it wicks away moisture along the fiber and through the fabric. Flammable and easily wrinkled, this fabric is used more in the apparel industry than in commercial interiors.
Polypropylene
It is the lightest of all commercial plastics and is employed in many fabrication methods. These are semitranslucent or milky white in color and have excellent color ability and chemical resistance, a high melting point, and are moderately priced. Fiber is a major market for this and are commonly used in upholstery fabric, carpet backing, and indoor/outdoor carpet fiber.
