Momentum

The product of mass and velocity; represented as kg m/s in vector form.

Impulse

The product of a large force and a short time; it changes the momentum of an object.Impulse is also equal to the change in momentum of an object.

Mass

The amount of matter in an object, measured in kilograms (kg)

Vector

A quantity that has both magnitude and direction, such as velocity.

An Impulse can

An impulse can change an object's direction, speed it up or slow it down

Final momentum

The momentum of an object after an impulse is applied; can be positive (speeding up) or negative (slowing down).
