What is exercise intensity?
Exercise intensity refers to how much energy is expended when exercising.
What is Resting Heart Rate (RHR)?
RHR is the number of times your heart beats per minute while inactive, in a neutral environment, and has not been subjected to exertion.
What is a healthy resting heart rate for teens?
The healthy resting heart rate for teens is between 60 bpm and 100 bpm.
When is the best time to take your resting heart rate?
The best time to take your resting heart rate is first thing in the morning or after resting for 5 minutes.
How can you measure your heart rate?
You can measure heart rate by counting beats for 60 seconds, for 30 seconds and multiplying by 2, or for 6 seconds and multiplying by 10.
What is Maximum Heart Rate (MHR)?
MHR is the greatest number of beats per minute your heart can reach during all-out exercise.
How is Max Heart Rate calculated?
Max Heart Rate is calculated using the formula 220 - age.
What is Target Heart Rate (THR)?
THR is the desired heart rate during exercise that allows you to know you are reaching your workout goals.

The RPE scale measures the intensity of your exercise and runs from 0 to 10.
