Nonsuicidal Self-Injury (NSSI)
Intentional self-harm without the intent to die, involving direct (e.g., cutting) or indirect behaviors (e.g., restrictive eating).
Interpersonal-Psychological Theory of Suicide
A theory proposing that suicidal behavior arises from perceived burdensomeness, thwarted belongingness, and acquired capability.
Passive Suicidal Thoughts
Desire for death without active intent, such as 'I wish I could disappear'.
