What is a director?

Someone who is responsible for putting together all of the creative elements of a production. The director also guides the performers in rehearsals.

What is a performer?

Someone who either acts, sings or performs in a production.

What is a set designer?

Someone who is responsible for designing the set and providing a concept for the production.

What is a sound designer?

The person that is responsible for all forms of sound in the production, whether that is music or sound effects.

What is a costume designer?

The person who is responsible for creating costume and makeup for the performers. They also work closely with the people making wigs when in a high end production.

What is a lighting designer?

Someone in the production who used lighting to create mood and atmosphere.
