Posterior Deltoid
Action: extension, horizontal abduction, abduction
Origin: spine of the scapula

Action: extension
Origin: infraglenoid fossa
Insertion: olecranon process

Supraspinatus
Action: abduction
Origin: supraspinous fossa
Insertion: greater tuberosity of humerus

Middle Deltoid
Action: abduction
Origin: acromion
Insertion: deltoid tuberosity

Latissimus Dorsi
Action: adduction, extension, internal rotation
Origin: spinus process T7-L5, posterior sacrum, iliac spine, posterior side of ribs 10-12
Insertion: anterior medial side humerus just inferior to inter groove

Teres major
Action: adduction, extension, internal rotation
Origin: inferior angle of scapula
Insertion: medial lip of inter groove

Infraspinatus
Action: external rotation, horizontal abduction
Origin: infraspinous fossa
Insertion: greater tuberosity of humerus

Teres minor
Action: external rotation, horizontal abduction
Origin: subscapular fossa
Insertion: lesser tuberosity of humerus

Subscapularis
Action: internal rotation
Origin: subscapular fossa
insertion: lesser tuberosity of humerus

Origin: lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus
Insertion: styloid process of radius

Pronator Teres
Action: pronation
Origin: medial epicondyle of humerus & coracoid process
Insertion: lateral side of mid radial diaphysis

Pronator Quadratus
Action: pronation
Origin: distal ¼ of anterior ulna
Insertion: distal ¼ of anterior radius

Supinator
Action: supination
Origin: lateral epicondyle of humerus, just inferior to radial notch of ulna
Insertion: anterolateral side of proximal 1/3 radius
