Ecology
The study of interactions between organisms and their environments.
Individual
An organism by itself.
Population
A group of the same organisms that interbreed with each other.
Community
The population of different species that are interacting within a locale.
Ecosystem
All living organisms and non-living elements interacting in an area.
Population Ecology
The study of interactions between populations of organisms and their environments.
Growth Rate
The change in the number of individuals in a population during a unit of time.
Stable Population
A population where an individual will simply replace itself.
