The highest exponent of the variable in a polynomial expression.
Binomial
A polynomial with two terms.
Quadratic
A polynomial of degree 2.
Polynomial Expression
An expression that can include constants, variables, and exponents combined using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Simplifying Polynomials
The process of combining like terms to reduce a polynomial to its simplest form.
Perimeter
The total distance around a two-dimensional shape, calculated by adding the lengths of all sides.
Area
The amount of space enclosed within a shape, measured in square units.
Factoring Polynomials
The process of breaking down a polynomial into its simplest parts or factors.
Product of Polynomials
The result of multiplying two or more polynomials together.
Like Terms
Terms that have the same variable raised to the same power, which can be combined.
Rectangle
A quadrilateral with four right angles, often used in finding area and perimeter.
